This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Matlock Bath, Cromford and Bonsall. It belongs to the B South policing section. The Matlock Bath neighbourhood is located on the outskirts of Matlock Town and is approximately 19 miles north of Derby. The area expanded during the 1700s & 1800s with the development of Arkwright's textile mill, the Cromford Canal, High Peak Railway and lead mining & quarrying.
