It belongs to the B South policing section. Tissington is a small village, located approximately four miles to the North of Ashbourne, in the centre of this neighbourhood. The neighbourhood includes a number of villages and hamlets, namely Fenny Bentley, Mappleton, Thorpe, Kniveton, Bradbourne, Ballidon, Parwich, Alsop en le Dale and Pikehall.
