Pc 1963 Simon Paulls and Pcso 13455 Sarah McCulloch are the Safer Neighbourhood Officers for Bishops Waltham. Bishops Waltham is a small town surrounded by rural countryside and smaller villages. The town has main roads that run through it, including the B2177 that leads from Winchester to Wickham and Fareham. The population is approximately 6971. The area that is covered by Bishops Waltham beat comprises of the town centre itself, several housing estates, Claylands industrial estate, several nature reserves and recreational areas including the large pond which is split into North and South either side of the B2177, Priory Park, Hoe Road recreation area, and the ruins of Bishops Waltham Palace.

There are two schools on the beat, which are next to each other on the ‘Ridgemede’ estate.
Bishops Waltham Infant School and Bishops Waltham Junior School. The beat also covers some of the rural areas and farmsteads up Beeches Hill, Ashton, towards Upham, towards Botley and towards Swanmore.
