Neighbourhood Team

Fareham South is one of the most industrious beats within Fareham and houses the Newgate Lane Industrial Estate as well as its neighbouring industrial estate at Fort Fareham. Fort Fareham is today a thriving trading estate inside, and what was once an open line of sight for gunfire has now turned into a wood. In the moat, tall Alders and Willows grow while on the banks, Oak, Ash and Silver Birch trees tower over Hawthorn and Blackthorn bushes. Fareham College is also situated within Fareham South with its large and modern campus is easily accessible by car and public transport, with the town’s train and bus stations nearby. The college offers a wide range of full-time and part-time courses including evening courses that cover a wide range of subjects. Cams Alders Football ground and is home to Fareham Town as well as Fareham Heathens Rugby Club. The stadium was built in 1975 and holds a total of 5,020 spectators.
