This neighbourhood covers an area of approximately 30 square miles and consists of the parishes of Oakley & Deane, North Waltham, Steventon, Popham and Wooton St Lawrence and lies South West of Basingstoke. The neighbourhood is accessed by the A30 and the B3400.
Steventon village is renowned for being the childhood home of classical authoress - Jane Austen, tourists worldwide visit and sign the church visitors book.
Low-level criminal damage and juvenile nuisance by way of anti-social behaviour is a frequent problem on this beat. The main policing priorities are to patrol regularly on foot to deter crime and reassure the public
Popham airfield is located within this neighbourhood, the airfield caters for small aircraft by private owners.
Oakley Hall is set in 315 acres of gardens and rural land. It is an ideal setting for weddings, conferences or private celebration's.
There are two primary schools on the beat, Oakley and North Waltham.
