In order to avoid confusion, UKCrimeStats has renamed the original "Other" category as "Other Total" which is the sum of these 6 and this is what is displayed from December 2010 to August 2011

The Economic Policy Centre www.economicpolicycentre.com has made every effort in order to ensure that the data for UkCrimeStats is accurate and up to date. However, we are aware of certain deficiencies in this data which are beyond our control. That's because as a 3rd party developer, we do not collect the data, the Police do who then hand it over to another data company to release to 3rd party developers such as ourselves. We only download and analyse it so that you can use it. For full detail of these deficiencies, please read here.

Fareham East, Portchester East and Portchester West are areas policed by one safer neighbour team based at Fareham police station, the team being led by Sgt Jerry Tremellen. The team consists of four Police Community Support Officers and four Police Constables. One of the police officers is primarily based in the senior schools at Portchester as a safer schools partnership officer.

This team are responsible for dealing with ongoing community policing issues in these areas. It is important you make our team aware of any policing related issues which cause you concern in your area. At regular intervals local policing priorities are set to focus the team's work and your concerns help inform us on what the priorities should be.

In addition to your neighbourhood team there are 24/7 police response teams who operate from Park Gate Police Station.
