The Bestwood Park Police beat area has 2342 households and is defined by the boundaries of Beckhampton Road, Chippenham, Milverton Road, Ellaston Avenue, Melksham Road, Bestwood Park Drive, Treegarth Square and Harkstead Road. The beat has three primary schools on its area namely Robin Hood School, Gladehill School and St Margaret Clithero School. In the centre of the beat there is a nature park called "The Sandy Banks", which is a green flag park. The park leads up to the Elm Bridge shopping centre. Adjacent to the park is the William Olds Youth Centre.
