Stockhill is situated on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre and lies between the Park Lane Estate and Whitemoor Estate. The border roads consist of Nuthall Road, Bar Lane, Percy Street, Lincoln Street and Vernon Road
There are three different Educational sites on the area, Ellis Guilford Secondary School, situated on Bar Lane, Old Basford Primary School situated on Percy Street and Basford Hall College of Further Education situated off Stockhill Lane.
