University Park and Lenton Abbey lie alongside each other between Nottingham city centre and Beeston accessed primarily from the two arterial routes of University Boulevard and Derby Road.
The main University campus is a large, world renowned educational establishment catering for many thousands of students and employing approximately 6000 people.
Lenton Abbey is a small friendly community comprising little more than a 1000 dwellings. A former Council owned estate it now comprises a mixture of Council houses, private rental properties and owner occupiers. Many people from Lenton Abbey work at The University in a variety of capacities or are in fact students there.
