These figure looks very likely to be wrong - see our page here http://www.ukcrimestats.com/Police_Force/Hertfordshire_Constabulary - it looks like the Vehicle Crime and ASB totals have been swapped over. Looking at the official csv files which we store http://www.ukcrimestats.com/Disclaimer/#raw the neighbourhood file shows a total of 840 ASB events but the street file shows 3649 ASB events. Equally, the street file shows 573 vehicle crimes in the street file but 3673 in the neighbourhood file.
We have asked the NPIA to investigate. On UKCrimeStats, for Police Force totals we use the neighbourhood csv files because these include crimes and ASB events that are not given a specific street location - if we didn't do this, we would be missing out around 147,000 crimes and ASB events between December 2010 and September 2011 across the 43 Police Forces of England and Wales.
