4) Public disorder and weapons were then split into two new categories; "public order" and "possession of weapons"
5) Both "other firearms offences" and "other knives offences" which were in "other crime" were moved into "possession of weapons".

The Economic Policy Centre www.economicpolicycentre.com has made every effort in order to ensure that the data for UkCrimeStats is accurate and up to date. However, we are aware of certain deficiencies in this data which are beyond our control. That's because as a 3rd party developer, we do not collect the data, the Police do who then hand it over to another data company to release to 3rd party developers such as ourselves. We only download and analyse it so that you can use it. For full detail of these deficiencies, please read here.

Neighbourhood Team

No police officers found

If you live in and around Whitchurch, Overton, Oakley and the Candover valley you will now come under the new Rural South Neighbourhood area, the team comprises of myself based at Tadley with three PCSOs and two PCs. The PCSOs will deal with local issues and engagements supported by the PCs who will address criminality and safeguarding the vulnerable. The West area and East area have a similar set up which means that when resources are required they can be moved around to support a policing need.
First point of contact for local issues should be through the PCSO team PCSO Andy Jones for Oakley and the Candovers and PCSO Piers Ambler for Whitchurch and PCSO Emma Page for Overton and Laverstoke, but feel free if you have any questions about the team or a particular problem to contact me via email - Basingstoke.Rural.Police@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or via the 101 system and I will get back to you. Please be reminded that the team work a variety of shifts and could be on rest days for 2 or 3 days.
