Some years ago, when we were applying all the geospatial shapes to the crime data, I thought that Civil Parishes were not that important or sought after so we didn’t add them. How wrong I was. We have now added all of them and included all the land registry price paid data too.
There’s nothing more annoying than missing a postcode. There are new ones released ever 3-4 months and we update them constantly as well as keep a record of expired ones. Postcodes now updated to the latest set.
A new feature for our subscribers, you can now choose from 3 different years for population datasets for Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) and Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs). As always, caution with the latest month which is always half-complete. We are careful to update the last 12 months data to capture any revisions, additions or deletions, for which the latest few months invariably have in abundance.
Every few months, there are a few thousand new postcodes and some that are deleted too. So it’s important to stay updated and current. We have just added 4,900 new ones since the last update at the end of last year.
